Overview of the Program
The Employee Benefits Plan is designed for Interior Logging Association, Central Interior Logging Association and North West Loggers Association members, their employees, spouses and dependent children.
This cost-effective benefits package focuses on the needs and concerns of the forest industry. It provides extended medical and dental coverage, as well as life, accident and disability insurance. The plan allows you to choose the best level of coverage for you and your employees - the Economy Plan, Basic Plan or Enhanced Plan.
If you decide to participate, all your permanent, non-seasonal employees who work at least 20 hours per week must join the plan.
Eligibility
Association members of any size may participate from one-person operations to large companies. Employers with twenty or more employees are eligible to custom-design a plan.
Contractors or sub-contractors who pay their own WCB premiums must be members of the logging association before they can participate in the Employee Benefits Plan. If you pay WCB premiums on their behalf, they can join the plan as your employees.
Employee Benefits Plan Summary
